“Are you in love with her?” Richard asked.

“It’s ridiculous. I can’t be in love with a woman I’ve only known for two weeks.” He snorted even as his heart beat a little faster.

“God built the world in seven days.”

“What the fuck has that got to do with anything?” Jason asked, getting angrier by the second.

“If God can create the world or Earth in seven days, or whatever he built in seven days, a guy can fall in love with a woman in two weeks.”

“It’s the twenty-first century. There’s no way it can happen.”

He looked across the table as Richard frowned. “I’m sure men from the past had the exact same parts as a man from the present. Yeah, sorry, it’s not going to be any different. We can all fall in love the exact same way, past, present, or future.”

Jason stared at his friend, really not liking him in that moment.

“I didn’t call you over here to give me a history lesson.”

“Look, why don’t you just quit this business?” Richard asked.

“What?”

“Quit, I’ll hire you as my PA, and you’d never have to tell her the truth.”

“Until one day it gets out that I’m Bone Harder. Shit, my life is becoming way more complicated than it needs to be.” Jason rubbed at his temples, trying to find a way to get out of the sticky situation he’d put himself in. So far, he couldn’t see any kind of white light.

“I’m not telling you what you should do, Jason. You don’t need to do this anymore. You’ve invested your money well, and you’ve got a shitload of royalties and endorsements coming in. You don’t need to stick with this life if it’s not what you want.”

“This is all I’ve ever done. It’s all I’ve ever known.”

“Well, maybe it’s time for you to start thinking about looking for something else.”

“Are you trying to take out the competition?” Jason asked, teasing.

“No. You’re my best friend. You helped me when I needed it most, and I’m not going to watch you fuck over yourself. You’re the brother I never had, Jason. Yeah, you helped me out by getting me into porn, but you saved me.”

He’d found Richard on the street almost dying. Jason had taken him to the nearest hospital, sat by his side, paid for him to go to rehab, and been a constant thorn in Richard’s side ever since. He’d been clean for well over eight years, and Jason saw him more as a brother than a friend.

“I love you, too, man.”

“So admit it. You’ve got feelings for Sydney. It’s not going to do you any harm admitting the truth. It’ll free you.”

Jason licked his lips, staring across the table at his best friend, he nodded. “I’m in love with Sydney.”

“Good, that’s great.” Richard sat back throwing his hands in the air, laughing. “Okay, we need pie.” He quickly ordered two large slices of Key lime pie.

Running fingers through his hair, Jason waited to be served before he continued.

“We now know you’re in love with Sydney. What’s the next step?”

“I’m going to have to tell her about my past at some point.”

“Why? You can be my PA, no lies.”

“Her sister knows exactly who Bone Harder is. Both women are close, and it would only be a matter of time before she discovered the truth. I can’t do that to her.” Jason had royally screwed up, and there wasn’t a way out of it, at least not for him, and not soon either.

“Look, it can’t be that bad. If her sister loves her, then I’m sure you can talk to the sister first.”

“I’ve got three weeks left with her until Dawn comes back,” Jason said.

“Then find a way between now and then to talk to her. You’ve got to give this a chance. If you don’t, you’d only regret it for the rest of your life.”

Jason took a bite of pie, moaning at the citrus flavor that exploded on his tongue. “Good pie.”

“Good friend,” Richard said, clinking for fork with Jason’s. “I’m going to have to start heading back.” Richard spoke up first after finishing up the pie.

“I’m going to come with you. Keep an eye on everything.” Jason paid for the lunch, and made his way over to the set.

Jason followed Richard into his small dressing room, while he prepared himself. It was something both men were used to. Richard, while in the room, began to stroke his cock to full arousal, before sliding his dick into his shorts.

“I play a pool guy this time,” Richard said, laughing.

Jason followed him out onto the set, in time to see Deep, one of the women, known for giving really good head. She could suck a dick like it was a lollipop, and was extremely popular in the business. Deep had made a good living on a DVD that literally had oral sex in it. She was in a bikini as she passed him.

“Are you coming to fuck me, too, Jason?” she asked.

“No. I’m here to watch.” His dick didn’t even get a rise out of him.

Sitting behind the camera, he watched the action unfold. Richard was pretending to clean the pool, glancing over at Deep as he did, giving her the fuck eye. Jason had seen many of these moments, the wait until the final fuck happened.

Deep moaned, placing the magazine she’d been reading beside the sun lounger before she started to caress and stroke her body. It was an amazing sight to behold, but again, his dick wasn’t interested in having any action.

Richard climbed out of the pool and moved to Deep’s side. She was moaning, looking at him with sensual eyes. Richard knelt by the side of the pool, rubbing his cock as he began to touch her body, stroking her.

Jason didn’t want to watch anymore, so he made his way out toward his car. He’d wait for Richard to get done.

Sitting in his car, he pulled his cell phone out, and dialed Sydney’s number.

She was working but had promised to start taking her cell phone with her.

“Hello,” she said, sounding breathless.

“Hey, beautiful.” From the sound of her voice he was hard as fucking rock.

“Jason, I missed you.”

He smiled, loving the teasing that came into her voice. “I missed you, too. I’m just out in my car waiting for Richard to get done.”

“You’re not standing watching?”

“No. I started to, and then I just missed you.”

“That’s incredibly sweet of you. Thinking about me even when you’ve got lots of sexy, naked women around you.”

“I’m in my car at the moment. No naked women I want in my bed other than you.”

“You’re a charmer, Jason.”

He chuckled.

Tell her.

“What’s going on?”

“I’m hamper packing. It seems teenagers are into hampers for graduation or something. They’re starting college I believe. Anyway, I’ve packed ten hampers this morning. No baking.”

He knew how much she loved baking.

“You’ll get the chance to bake.”

“I was going to ask if you wanted to come to my place tonight. I could cook, make a meal. You could invite Richard if you’d like. I’d like to get to know your boss.”

Tell her the truth.

“I’ll ask him. He’d love the chance to meet you.”

He heard her squeal. “Excellent. I can’t wait. I promise the food will be amazing, and I’ll whip up a dessert.”

Jason spoke with her for a few more minutes before ringing off. Resting his head back against the car seat, he closed his eyes, wondering what the hell he’d done once again. Why couldn’t he tell her the truth?

You don’t want her to cut you out of her life.

He was losing his mind with all of this deceit.

An hour later Richard climbed into the car, looking happy with himself.

“What’s got that smile on your face?” Jason asked, starting up his car.

“Job well done. Deep was brilliant as always.”

“Was she actually turned on?”

“No. I had to use plenty of lubrication. It just wasn’t the day.”

“I’ve got a favor to ask of you,” Jason said.

“What?”

“I need you to come with me to have dinner with Sydney.”

“Have you told her the truth?”

“No. She wants to meet my boss, and I don’t have the heart to tell her otherwise.”
