"What happened?" I asked him as he sat down on the side of the bed, dropping his head to his hands.

"I just had a bad dream. I'm okay, everything's okay," he answered, not looking at me. I crawled to him so I was directly between his legs; I placed my hands on his knees and gave them a gentle squeeze as my way of letting him know that I was here for him. "Just a dream," he mumbled again, so I let it go. This was a conversation for another time. My heart hurt for him, because whatever he was going through was very painful, whether he wanted to admit it or not. Maybe he was not ready to tell me yet and all I could do was be there for him when he did. He lay back on the bed and buried his face in his pillow, not saying a word. I crawled in beside him, wrapping him in my arms until sleep claimed us both.

Someone knocking on the bedroom door woke me hours later. I sat up, pulling the sheet up around my neck to hide my naked body. It was then that I realized that I was alone. Linc got out of bed at some point and didn't wake me.

"Yes?" I said to the person on the other side of the door. The door slowly opened and my brother stepped into the room.

"Wake up, sleeping beauty. We're in Seattle," he said and handed me a hotel keycard.

"You could've just given it to Linc," I said, looking over my brother’s shoulder for any sign of Linc on the bus.

"He said he needed to make a phone call and that I should give it to you," he explained while eying me suspiciously.

"Yes. Before you even ask, yes we slept together," I told him.

“I've given up that fight, Honesty. All I'm going to say is, that I hope you know what you're doing," he said before walking out and closing the door behind him. I sighed heavily and flopped back down onto the bed. I hoped I knew what I was doing too.

A short time later, the bedroom door opened and in walked Linc.

"Good morning, beautiful," he said before leaning in and placing a kiss on my forehead.

"What time is it?" If we're in Seattle, it's got to be well after midnight.

He pulled his cell from his back pocket and glanced at it before responding, “It's four in the morning. We've been here a couple of hours, but you looked so peaceful lying there, I hated to wake you. The guys are ready to eat," he told me as his hand slid over my ribs, stopping at my hip, and I was immediately wet. "I'm hungry," he paused for a moment, "but not for food," he said, lifting a brow and smiling down at me. About that time, my stomach rumbled really loud and the smile disappeared off of his face. "Get dressed," he said, smacking my ass hard enough that it stung.

After dressing in a pair of gray yoga pants and a black Dirty Affliction t-shirt and tennis shoes, Linc and I met the guys outside the bus where a shuttle waited to take us to eat.

"Let's go to Cracker Barrel. I love their hash browns," Jinx said.

"No, let's go to Waffle House, they've got smothered and covered. You'll be fine with those," Levi told him, and they all begin to argue back and forth over which would be the best place to eat, so I decided to take it upon myself to make the decision.

"We're going to IHOP because I'm in the mood for some chocolate chip pancakes, so suck it up and get your asses in the van," I told them while climbing onto the small shuttle bus. Like good little band soldiers, and without another word, we headed for the nearest IHOP. I made a mental note to handle them like children the next time they argued like two year olds.

After we'd all eaten way too much, we arrived back at the hotel and headed up to our rooms to shower and get ready for the day. The band had to be at the venue in a couple of hours to run through their show which means that I'll need to be there for Linc. I didn’t know if Sweet Misery would be there at the same time, but I hoped not. I didn’t know if I could hold myself back from pulling Teagan’s fucking hair out. According to Court, she and Courtney were supposed to keep their distance from the guys, especially Linc, but if she wanted to get close to him, she would find away. I just hoped that Linc had enough will power not to seek her out.

Linc

"You ready babe? The guys are waiting for us in Court's room next door," I said, just as she walked into the den area of our suite. The moment my eyes landed on her sexy curves, the air rushed from my lungs, making it hard for me to breathe. She was wearing a pair of dark skin tight jeans and a fitted t-shirt with the words, "I'm with the band" written across her perky tits. My eyes moved over her luscious body as I grabbed my crotch to shift my growing erection to a more comfortable position. Her green eyes sparkled and a smile spread across her beautiful face. She knew exactly what she was doing to me and she loved it.

"You trying to kill me babe?" I said, closing the distance between us.

"I don't know what you're talking about?" She smiled shyly but her eyes shown with mischief.

"You know damn well what you're doing to me. I ought to take you in there right now," I tilted my head in the direction of the bedroom, "and show you just how hard you make me," I told her, grabbing her hips and pulling her tight against my body so that she could feel how hard I was for her.

"Down big boy. They're waiting for us, remember?" She fucking winked at me. Fucking winked! "As soon as practice is over, I promise you can show me how hard I make you. In fact, I think I should be punished for teasing you as you so implied,” she said.

"Holy shit! You have no idea what you just brought on yourself. Let's go! The sooner we get this over with, the sooner we can get back here and I can bury myself deep into that tight, little pussy of yours," I said, grabbing her hand and practically pulling her into the hallway. The sound of her giggles caused my chest to tighten painfully. This beautiful woman had no idea what she did to me. She made me feel things that I never thought I'd feel for anyone because I never wanted to let anyone in. Honesty had been tearing down the walls that I built up a long time ago. There was only one wall that I was worried about her getting past, and the more time that I spent with her, the more she was chipping away at it. I just hoped when it finally crumbled and everything was revealed that she didn’t walk away.

"It's about fucking time you two showed your face! We're already fifteen minutes late. What have you two been doing?" Court growled.

"Fuck! Court don’t ask him things like that. That's not something a brother wants to hear for fuck’s sake!" Jinx shouted from across the room where he was sitting on glass top coffee table in front of the sofa.

"That's none of your fucking business. We're here now so let's get this over with," I told him. Court took out his cell and placed a call to have our transportation ready when we made it to the lobby. It was a good thing too, because when we stepped off the elevator, we were bombarded with fans, reporters, and flashing cameras. I wrapped my arm around Honesty’s waist and pulled her close to my body as we made our way through the crowd with hotel security.

"Linc, we heard you were in rehab?" Have you used again? Are you dating Jinx's sister?" Questions were coming from every direction, but we kept our heads down and let Court handle them. That's why he made the big bucks, as our manager it was his job to put up with this shit so that we don't have to. We all climbed into the waiting limo and headed for the venue, where we'd run through our set and hopefully take care of any sound and lighting issues before tonight's show.
